Product Information

The GE Healthcare AKTA Explorer 100 Biomolecule Purification System is a state-of-the-art system designed for purifying biomolecules effortlessly. This unit has been tested for basic functionality and includes everything seen in the pictures, except the monitor, and has slight cosmetic blemishes. The AKTA Explorer system is incredibly versatile, providing reliable results across a range of techniques and sample loads from grams to grams. Capable of operating at flow rates of up to 100 ml/min and a pressure of 10 MPa or 10 ml/min and a pressure of 25 MPa, this system automates column selection with its vast built-in library, allowing for high-performance purification and characterization. With innovative features like the UNICORN method wizard and state-of-the-art UV-Vis detection of up to three wavelengths simultaneously, this system facilitates seamless method transfer to production-scale and offers high accuracy and reproducibility. It's designed to meet the needs of chromatographers working with biomolecules and is equipped with built-in features that prevent reliability and maintenance issues commonly associated with other pumps. With a flow rate range of 0.150 ml/min, pressure range of 2.0 MPa, and max pressure of 25 MPa, the P-900 series pumps are known for their simple operation using menus, making them compatible with biomolecules and all commonly used solvents in liquid chromatography.
