There are a multitude of applications for the Edwards E2M28, including use with sterilization, mass spectrometry, lasers, vacuum distillation, epoxy degassing, brake line evacuation, freeze drying, space research, refrigeration dehydration, vacuum ovens, backing combinations, thin film coating, and other vacuum processes. The E2M28 is easy to operate and service, requiring no special tools. It operates at a quiet 48dBA and is equipped with large, clearly marked controls. The fast-acting inlet valve prevents oil and gas suck-back in the event of power or oil pressure loss, and it features NW25 inlet/outlet connections. The pump offers high vacuum or high throughput from the same pump, with easily selectable modes such as high vacuum mode and high throughput mode. Gas ballast control maximizes vapor handling capability, while the valve prevents condensation of vapor carried by pumped gases. This pump signifies an essential addition to any laboratory setting.
