The Edwards RV3 rotary vane mechanical vacuum pump delivers excellent ultimate vacuum pressure, high pumping speeds and superior vapour handling capabilities and offers proven performance for R&D and scientific pumping applications. It's suitable for analytical instruments, electron microscopes, and leak detection in both high vacuum and high throughput modes. It features a mode selector, a three-position gas ballast, which allows 60 g/hr or 220 g/hr of water vapour to be handled, and a rapid closing inlet valve within 0.4 seconds of pump stopping. This Edwards Vacuum Pump has been tested for basic functionality, with a vacuum pressure at 8 microns.
