The Thermo my ECL Imager Model 62236X is a powerful and easy-to-use blot and gel documentation instrument, revolutionizing image acquisition of protein and nucleic acid blots and gels detected via chemiluminescent, colorimetric or UV light-activated fluorescent substrates or stains. The compact benchtop instrument uses UV and visible light transilluminator, specialized filters and advanced CCD camera technology to capture images with high sensitivity and dynamic range. It boasts a large, 10.4-inch touchscreen and an on-board computer to provide an elegant user-interface to program acquisition settings and manage (store and share) image files. This instrument has been tested for basic functionality, and a working unit with a 30-day warranty should be expected. The unit has slight cosmetic blemishes from normal use. Note: This instrument does NOT include software. Typical applications include chemiluminescent Western blot and electrophoresis gel images with varying resolution, low-noise, high-dynamic range CCD camera detection, one-touch image acquisition, and multiple image acquisition with pre-set and user-defined settings.
