The Thermo Scientific Savant UVS400SPD-115 Universal SpeedVac Vacuum System has been tested to specifications. Model UVS400-115, which is equipped with an easy to use, wide-mouth glass condensation flask only. This single integrated unit combines an oil-free vacuum source and refrigerated vapor trap, and can be connected to any of the concentrators to provide a complete SpeedVac system. This equipment is widely used in research laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, and educational institutions for sample analysis, material testing, and quality control. Featuring a low maintenance, oil-free, and corrosion-resistant design, the equipment is known for its single-stage refrigeration system, optional post trap for ammonia or acid neutralization, and a chemical trap for absorbing volatile radioactivity and residual vapor. The model UVS400SPD-115 produces a maximum vacuum of <10 torr (13.3mbar) with an oil-free ETFE diaphragm pump and a displacement of 36 liters/minute on 60Hz; 30 liters/minute on 50Hz models.
