The GE Healthcare Fraction Collector F9-R 29011362 is a preowned unit with minimal wear from normal use. Unfortunately, we are unable to fully test the F9-R due to the requirement of being connected to a larger system. However, a 30-day warranty is included with purchase. This fraction collector is designed for KTA pure, KTA go, and KTA avant for collection in tubes. The F9-R can be used with up to two fraction collectors on KTA pure or one F9-R and one F9-C. It collects fractions in 3, 8, 15, and 50 mL tubes, and the DropSync function can be used for flow rates up to 2 mL/min to minimize spillage between drops. Fraction collection can be based on time, volume, or automatic peak recognition and is controlled from UNICORN software. The automatic peak recognition minimizes cross-contamination, and unwanted eluent can be diverted to the waste.
