The Revco ULT2140-5-A14 Ultra Low Temperature Lab Freezer -40C is a preowned lab freezer with slight cosmetic wear from normal use, including stains & scratches around the unit. We have tested this unit overnight at our facility and were able to reach -42C on our temperature gauge. The purchase includes a 30-day warranty. The Revco Ultra-low Freezer 2140 Upright Freezer offers a cost-effective alternative for a variety of industrial process and storage uses. It features rugged cabinet construction and a reliable solid-state control for basic but dependable operation. The microprocessor control system includes touchpad data entry and a digital display of all functions, along with a key-operated switch for main power and alarm. The independent operating temperature and high/low limit alarm functions have factory-set defaults for quick start-up, all setpoints adjustable in 1C increments. The electrical system includes on-board power monitoring and an optional free-standing surge suppressor to minimize the effect of voltage spikes. The monitoring system features a voltage boost indicator to advise of low source voltage below safe parameters and indicates when the voltage boost system is activated. Additionally, the clean filter indicator light advises when to remove and wash the condenser filter. This ultra low freezer has a temperature range of -10 to -40C, and it is equipped with CFC-free refrigerant and heavy-gauge, cold-rolled steel cabinet with a powder-paint finish.
