The GRANT SUB AQUA 12L Water Bath, manufactured by Grant, is a robust and high-quality water bath designed for direct immersion of samples. It provides excellent temperature stability for a wide range of routine laboratory applications. This specific unit has been tested to specifications and is in very good condition, with rusty spots in the water tank from normal use, but this does not affect its functionality. The water bath features a stainless steel tank, a clean, painted steel case for maximum chemical and abrasion resistance, and a Grant polycarbonate perforated base tray that promotes heat convection and optimal temperature uniformity. The heater mat and sensor are bonded to the underside of the tank, optimizing temperature uniformity and workspace. This unit also offers user-settable over-temperature buttons for sample protection, three programmable temperature presets, user-calibration, and digital PID temperature control circuitry with a sensitive PT1000 temperature control probe.
