The Benchmark Scientific PlateFuge MicroPlate Microcentrifuge C2000 has been tested to specifications and is in very good condition with slight cosmetic blemishes from regular use. The PlateFuge is the first mini-sized centrifuge with a swing-out rotor for microplates. It ensures proper concentrations and improved yields by centrifuging plates before PCR. The swing-out rotor can secure 2 microplates, and the centrifuge includes a uniquely designed rotor chamber with two plate carriers resting at a 75-degree angle. The unit operates at a speed of 2,550 RPM with a maximum RCF of 600 x g, and has a capacity for 2 x 2 PCR plates, 2 x microtiter plates (up to 25mm), and 24 x 0.2ml PCR strips. The deceleration time is 4 seconds, and the electrical requirements are 115V, 50/60Hz, 250W. The dimensions are 9.2 x 10.2 x 7.75 in (23 x 26 x 19.7 cm).
