The Novasep ProChrom LC80.600.VE100 Dynamic Axial Compression Column is a world-leading, state-of-the-art HPLC column for intermediate purification and polishing of APIs, biologics, and other small molecules. It was developed, utilized, and supplied by Novasep, offering robust Prochrom columns that have been in use since the early 1980s. These columns are operated at high pressure up to 100 bar, with internal diameters ranging from 50mm to 1.2m. The Dynamic Axial Compression (DAC) technology ensures the highest efficiency, optimum separation efficiency, and consistent performance over an extended period. It includes a movable piston attached to a hydraulic jack, providing optimum packed bed density and stability. The DAC technology guarantees the same performance from 50mm ID to 1.6m ID, along with a smart piston to maintain constant pressure and advanced flow distributors to ensure highest efficiency without compromising scale-up and performance.
