The Applied Biosystems ABI Prism 7900HT Sequence Detection System PCR is a real-time quantitative PCR system with high-throughput capabilities using 96- and 384-well plate compatibility and TaqMan Low Density Array. While it is sold for parts, it offers Fast PCR capabilities that reduce run time, with continuous wavelength detection enabling multiple fluorophores in a single reaction. This system can measure gene expression levels, detect and quantitate pathogens, perform allelic discrimination assays, and more. It was removed from a working environment with an AS-IS warranty and very minimal testing. It provides high sensitivity and accurate results. It is best suited for gene expression quantitation and detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms in drug discovery processes.
