The Countess II FL comes with a Countess USB drive for data storage and transfer, disposable and reusable slide holders, a light cube removal tool, a power cord with 4 plug adaptors, and a free box of 50 disposable slides. Counting cells is as easy as 1-2-3: just mix your sample with trypan blue, pipet it into a disposable Countess chamber slide, insert the slide into the instrument, and press the Count button. The Countess II FL uses trypan blue staining and auto-focus mechanism with a sophisticated image analysis algorithm to give you accurate cell and viability counts, with a measurement range of 1 x 10e4 to 1 x 10e7 cells/mL. The optimal cell size for accurate viability assessment is 760 m, and this intelligent cell counter lets you multiplex with a variety of fluorescent dyes and proteins via EVOS Light Cubes, allowing you to prepare your sample for the next passage or experiment. You can even transfer your cell count results and images to your PC via the USB port!
