The Drager PointGard 2100 is a self-contained gas detection system which allows for continuous monitoring of an area for toxic gases in ambient air. The water-resistant housing includes a built-in power supply, a backlit graphical LCD display and clear status LEDs. It is practically ready to use out of the box, once you have chosen a pre-calibrated sensor to suit your application. With a range of sensors including oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide and many more. It offers easy viewing of the unit status with coloured LEDs, advanced diagnostics, and gas readings displayed via a graph on the screen. The unit is easy to commission, install and offers predictive maintenance. It can be integrated into a larger gas detection system through 4-20mA signal output and accommodate additional external alarm devices through built-in relays. The Nema 4X/IP66 (pending) rated glass fiber reinforced polyester housing is water and dust resistant. This device functions as intended, and passes function tests confidently for warranty. Its use cases include environmental monitoring, industrial safety, and laboratory applications.
