The Phenomenex Luna 10u C18(2) 100A P/N 00G-4253-V0 is a robust, ultra-pure silica-based HPLC column designed for separation of hydrophobic compounds. This used column, originating from the United States, offers scalability from micro-bore to preparative and purification scales, making it ideal for various lab applications. Despite minor cosmetic defects, the column features a wide pH stability range for extended lifespan and adaptable methodologies. The octadecyl silane ligands bound to the silica surface enhance the hydrophobic phase, increasing methylene selectivity, while the non-polar endcapping reduces silanol interactions. This column is perfect for demanding analytical applications with varying particle sizes from 2.5 to 15 microns, a 100Å pore size, and a carbon load of 17.5%.
