Description
The Climet CI-90 Microbial Air Sampler, manufactured in the United States, is a precision instrument designed for capturing airborne biological particles, including fungi and bacteria, onto nutrient agar-loaded petri dishes. This unit, operating at a sample flow rate of 99 liters per minute, uses an electronic automatic close loop for flow rate control. Powered by a replaceable 9.6-volt Nickel Metal Hydride battery, it provides between 7.5 to 9 hours of continuous operation and requires approximately 4 to 4.5 hours for full recharge. The captured samples can be incubated to cultivate microbial colonies, which are subsequently counted to assess the concentration of colony forming units (CFUs) in the air. The device is in very good condition, exhibiting minor cosmetic imperfections but fully functional with no error messages. Please note, this unit does not include computer or software. However, it includes a power cord for convenience.
