Description
The Labconco 78100-00D Centrivap Concentrator Centrifuge is designed to expedite evaporation processes for laboratory specimens using centrifugal force and vacuum. Capable of testing up to 148 specimens at once, this unit features a powerful motor capable of rotating at speeds up to 1800 RPM. It includes a built-in 300-watt tubular heater to aid in evaporation, optimizing sample preparation. Though previously used, this centrifuge remains functional but may exhibit minor errors or cosmetic issues that do not affect core functions. The interior accommodates a double-deck circular rotor compatible with either 6 x 50 ml conical tubes or 18 x 1.5 ml microtubes, making it versatile for various laboratory applications. The centrifuge operates on a power input of 115 VAC, single-phase, 60 Hz, and draws 3.1 Amps of power, fitted with a 1/2 inch O.D. stainless steel hose fitting. While the computer, software, power cords, and other accessories are not included, the unit's foundational operation offers substantial value when fully functional.
