The Branson 450 Digital Sonifier is a precision digital sonifier that provides precise process control and parameter measurement. The 450 features 20 pre-sets for easy processing of 700mL or less, with automatic tuning and frequency storage. It is ideal for applications such as cell disruption, chip assay, emulsification, homogenization, cell lysing, DNA and protein processing, acceleration of reactions, leaching, extraction, and fine mixing degassing. The sonifier operates with a duty cycle of 0.1 seconds to 59.9 seconds or continuous processing time, with horn frequency ranging from 19.850 to 20.050 kHz. The temperature operating range is 40'F (5'C) to 104'F (40'C). This unit includes the converter, disruptor and probe, and has been tested to specifications. It is in very good condition, functioning as intended with little to some cosmetic damage.
