The Bio-Rad Criterion Cell is an advanced electrophoresis system designed to run one or two Criterion gels, which are wider and longer than traditional mini gels. It can accommodate hand-cast or Criterion precast gels and offers the ability to run up to 26 samples in less than 1 hour or accommodate 11 cm ReadyStrip IPG strips for 2-D applications. This criterion cell offers a total buffer volume of 1 L and operates at 200 V constant. The unit is from Bio Rad, manufactured in Taiwan, and is in good condition, though it has not been fully tested.
