The VWR Hot stirrer plate has been tested for basic functionality and is in good condition with minor cosmetic blemishes from normal use. This hot plate features a large cast aluminum top plate that provides an even heating surface. It has a built-in support rod holder with a locking knob that accepts an optional support rod and clamp kit for mounting thermometers and temperature probes. The kit includes a 45.7 cm (18") support rod, thermometer extension clamp, three-prong medium swivel clamp, and hook connector. This hot plate also has an optional support plate that allows it to be mounted to lab frames or ring stands. With a maximum temperature of 400°C (752°F) and a speed range of 100-1200 rpm, this hot plate is suitable for a wide range of applications in the laboratory.
