Description
The Thermo 7452 Controlled Rate Freezer offers precise temperature control for ultra-low temperature storage, with a range from +50°C to -180°C. This compact, countertop unit incorporates dual solenoid valves for accurate LN2 injection, optimizing cell viability during freezing. Despite incomplete testing due to a sample sensor issue, the unit is operational and shows no obvious functional defects. It includes a built-in thermal printer and easy-to-use backlit LCD for modifying freezing profiles and managing user access. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and featuring foamed-in-place insulation, the Cryomed 7452 is designed for durability. Note: nitrogen required for full testing. Computer is not included.
