The Thermo Scientific Q Exactive Plus, manufactured in 2013, is an advanced Orbitrap LC-MS/MS system designed for high-confidence characterization, quantification, and confirmation. Even though it is pre-owned, this system maintains a good operational condition, having been removed from a laboratory environment. It powers on and completes initial startup successfully, although complete functional testing was not possible due to missing control software. The system is equipped with advanced quadrupole technology, a high-resolution and accurate-mass Orbitrap detector, and offers options for both routine and complex analyses across a wide mass range. While the computer and dedicated software are not included, the device is ready to enhance research capabilities, especially for quantitation in complex matrices using methods like SIM, PRM, and DIA.
