Description
The CEM Discover LabMate Microwave Reactor, Model 908005, offers advanced capabilities for small-scale synthetic work in microwave-assisted chemistry. This equipment uses microwaves as a low-frequency energy source, resulting in faster reactions, higher yields, and improved purity. The highly versatile CEM microwave reactor supports chemistry applications ranging from high-temperature nanomaterial synthesis to low-temperature carbohydrate reactions. With capabilities for instant on/off operation and safety features such as 3 safety interlocks, this unit also includes an Intellivent pressure control system. A magnetron frequency of 2455 MHz and programmable pressure from 0-300 psi ensures precise and reliable performance. Despite testing limitations, the unit powers on and performs basic tests, without any indications of non-functionality. Power: 120/240V, 50/60Hz.
