The Bruker ALPHA II Spectrometer is a Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) device widely used for rapid material identification. It is a non-destructive technique that requires limited to no sample preparation and can verify or identify unknown materials in minutes. The portable bench top design features interchangeable modules such as ATR, DRIFT and External Reflection, allowing flexibility to analyze a wide range of sample types. With custom calibrations, the ATR module can provide semi-quantitative mineralogy, complementing chemical analysis for rapid decision making. Does not include computer or software.
