The Invitrogen E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis Device G8100 is a fast and convenient electrophoresis system designed for E-Gel agarose gel electrophoresis. It integrates DNA sample separation and gel visualization seamlessly with precast E-Gel EX agarose gels, allowing for real-time observation of DNA sample migration. The small footprint and convenience make it ideal for DNA gel electrophoresis and visualization, with dry, precast, pre-stained E-Gel agarose gels enabling DNA sample runs in as little as 10 minutes. This device is compatible with all low-throughput E-Gel precast agarose gels, making it suitable for cloning workflows and improving cloning efficiency over ethidium bromide/UV. The E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis Device can be coupled with the E Gel Power Snap Camera for instant capture of high-resolution agarose gel images, and it also supports ethidium bromide-stained E-Gel single-comb and double-comb agarose gel cassettes (not suitable for imaging with the E-Gel Power Snap Camera).
