Erlab Captair 483 Smart Ductless Fume Hood The Captair 483 Smart Ductless Fume Hood is designed for applications and laboratories that require a larger hood area and filtration capacity. These larger hoods have extra depth and filtration capacity, offering optimum workspace and superior protection from harmful chemicals for the end-user. Erlab's advanced carbon filtration technology and/or HEPA/ULPA meets AFNOR NF X 15 211/ANSI Z9.5-2012 filtration efficiency standard (class 1 and 2) and sensors detect filter breakthrough of solvents, acids or formaldehyde. The hood is simpler to use with Smart Technology that provides feedback on safe operation, containment and fan status. No ductwork is needed, offering flexibility in movement, and brings savings in ductwork and energy costs. The system prevents dangerous chemical release and has optional accessories including varied work surfaces, detection sensors, and transparent back panels.
