The Thermo Scientific Sorvall X4R is a brand new, high-capacity refrigerated centrifuge designed for large batch processing, supporting up to 4 liters. Ideal for versatile laboratory applications, it accommodates up to 196 blood tubes or 96 conical tubes, making it exceptionally valuable for handling temperature-sensitive samples. Key features include a user-friendly full-color touchscreen for easy setup and run tracking, an Auto-Lock™ rotor exchange system for swift rotor changes, and compatibility with 18 rotor configurations. The centrifuge can store up to 100 programs, allowing users to efficiently manage their processes. With a direct brushless induction drive, it ensures reliability and durability. It operates with a maximum speed of 4,200 rpm and an RCF of 4,122 × g, within a temperature range of -10°C to +40°C, making it perfect for diverse lab environments.
