The Omega OM-USB-TC is a USB 2.0 full-speed, thermocouple input module that provides eight differential thermocouple input channels and eight independent, TTL-compatible digital I/O channels. It is fully compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports and can take measurements from type J, K, R, S, T, N, E, and B thermocouples. The module includes two integrated cold junction compensation sensors, on-board microprocessor for linearized data, and open thermocouple detection to identify broken thermocouples. This plug-and-play module requires no external power supply, and all configurable options are software programmable.
