The accessories and parts included allow for the construction of a custom and versatile platform for assembling prototype optical assemblies, conducting experiments, and mounting small subsystems. It features solid aluminum optical breadboards with a matte black anodized finish to reduce unwanted reflections. The through-tapped mounting holes provide a convenient and cost-effective platform, and the black anodized coating minimizes reflections. The board is through-drilled with a standard hole pattern offset from the edges, allowing components to be mounted on both sides. The various thicknesses and hole configurations offer flexibility for different applications.
