The Rheodyne PD725-000 2/6, TitanHT, RPC-15, UHP25 Ultra-High Pressure Valve is a cutting-edge valve technology that enables very high-pressure injection, selection, and switching with ultra-high seal life for maximum instrument uptime. It uses patent pending metal-on-metal seal technology with two times the seal life of equivalent 15,000 psi valves. The principle of operation involves shear valve technology; the fluid inlet remains stationary as a grooved seal on the rotor surface rotates to change port connections. It is designed for easy maintenance with a rapid replacement pod. Made in the United States, this valve is ideal for HPLC/FPLC/GC/CE applications. It is a new product, not used before, and comes with a warranty. Software is not included. Typical applications include pharmaceutical research, drug development, and chemical analysis in laboratory settings.
