Description
The Perkin Elmer EnSpire Alpha Multimode Plate Reader, a high-performance and versatile reader, is designed for laboratories with diverse assay needs. This compact instrument can handle up to 384-well microplates, providing a range of detection technologies including label-free, fluorescence intensity, absorbance, ultra-sensitive luminescence, and patented Alpha technologies. Noteworthy features include Corning Epic label-free technology for non-invasive assays, photometric capability for nucleic acid/protein quantitation and ELISA absorbance assays, and sophisticated AlphaLISA/AlphaScreen detection capabilities. The touchscreen interface facilitates easy use even with gloves, while integrated software and an on-board computer enhance data handling. This device, in fair condition, requires service as the motherboard displays an internal error light. The internal computer is not currently operational.
Technician comment
Upon start the unit powers on (although mother board blinks for an internal error. Touchscreen desktop shows red led indicating its getting power but will not turn on physically. The internal computer tower located in back of the unit does not get power also. Needs service
