Description
The Bio-Rad Criterion Cell is a reliable electrophoresis system designed for efficient gel running. Built in the United States, this used model functions with up to two Criterion gels which are significantly wider and longer than traditional mini gels, measuring 13.3 x 8.7 cm. Achieve rapid runs of up to 26 samples in under an hour, or for 2-D electrophoresis, it supports 11 cm ReadyStrip IPG strips. The Criterion Cell is compatible with both hand-cast and Criterion precast gels, providing versatility in lab experiments. This unit, although unable to be fully tested, powers on and performs basic tests, with no known functionality issues beyond cosmetic wear typical from prior use. It operates under constant 200 V with a recommended PowerPac Basic or PowerPac HC power supply. Note, power and data cables are not included.
