The XCell4 SureLock Midi-Cell by Invitrogen is a highly efficient midi-gel electrophoresis system, designed for the simultaneous vertical electrophoresis of up to 14 midi gels with high-resolution results. Constructed from tough polycarbonate, the system ensures durability and effective heat dissipation. The easy-to-use assembly features a SureLock actuator that seals gels, facilitating zero-force insertion and sample loading. The XCell4 SureLock Midi-Cell is flexible, allowing the operation of up to four midi-gels at once and requires 25% less running buffer per gel compared to the Criterion Cell. It comprises a lower buffer chamber, two buffer cores, and a unique gel tension wedge ensuring a sealed, leak-free operation. The buffer core/gel assembly establishes upper buffer chambers for each gel and a shared lower buffer chamber for all, further enhancing reliability. Note: Computer is not included.
