Description
The Labconco Freezone 12 Liter Freeze Dry System is engineered for lyophilizing moderate to large sample volumes and offers stoppering capabilities for vials or serum bottles under vacuum conditions. The system features an upright stainless steel collector coil with a 12-liter ice capacity, utilizing a 3/4 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system to achieve temperatures as low as -50 C, ideal for aqueous samples. Coupled with a Stoppering Tray Dryer with three processing shelves, this unit is powered by a single 1 HP HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system and a 1000-watt electric heater for effective cooling and heating of the fluid medium. While it's in a condition for parts or not working, the Freeze Dry System includes key functionality for lab environments requiring freeze drying capabilities. The unit does not include a computer, software, or manuals.
