The Bio-Rad Universal Hood ChemiDoc Gel Documentation System, Model Universal Hood, is a versatile tool designed to enhance laboratory gel imaging applications. Manufactured in the United States, this used unit with a VG (Very Good) condition rating includes essential components such as the HP Compag d220 MT Tower with Windows 2000 and Quantity One imaging software installed, a Dell monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a Mitsubishi P91 Thermal Printer. It effectively captures fluorescence and chemiluminescence images without requiring a photographic darkroom. Its features include a CCD camera with motorized zoom lens, UV transilluminator, white light epi-illumination, and automatic shut-off function. The system is easy-to-use, capturing and processing images via the Bio-Rad TDS Quantity One software for detailed analysis.
