Description
The Alabama R&D MD6000 Tissue Slicer is designed for the preparation of aseptic, thin slices of live tissues, ideal for biochemical, pharmacological, toxicological, and neurological in vitro studies. This model features a new cabinet design with electronic upgrades, an improved microtome assembly with a magnetic blade holder, and a reengineered counter-balanced drive shaft for smoother blade travel. Key advancements include independent speed controls and full automation, making it a sterilizable microtome that requires no technical expertise to operate. Despite its visible cosmetic wear, it powers on and performs basic tests without known functionality issues. Please note that the microtome and reservoir assembly parts are not included.
