This device, manufactured by Invitrogen, enables effortless image capture and documentation of E-Gel agarose gels when paired with the E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis Device (G8100). Designed to seamlessly integrate into the electrophoresis system without requiring an external power source, the camera ensures uninterrupted workflow and captures high-resolution images instantly. It is not compatible with ethidium bromide stained gels but supports multiple E-Gel types including E-Gel EX and E-Gel SYBR Safe. Despite the absence of a Power Electrophoresis Device and other peripherals, the camera's intuitive touchscreen interface and internal memory provide a straightforward means of capturing, editing, and storing images.
