Description
The Thermo Dionex Aquion 22176-60004 Ion Chromatography System is designed for precise analysis and separation of ionic species in various samples. Manufactured in the United States, this unit is noted to be in fair condition, with an operational anomaly regarding high pressure in the conductivity cell rising over 1500 psi. Despite power functionality, the system experienced persistent high pressure even with adjustments to cell temperature and flow rate, highlighting potential minor faults requiring attention. Ideal for laboratories aiming to conduct comprehensive ionic content analysis, this unit could be a valuable asset upon repair.
Technician comment
Description of fault: Aquion pressure was high in the conductivity cell. A pressure of over 1500psi was checked in the conductivity cell. Following action were taken, but the symptoms did not improve. The cell temperature was raised, and the flow rate was slowed for a long time, but the pressure was still high.
