Description
The Thermo Scientific model 88600D Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer is a robust solution for secure storage of critical biological samples. With a capacity of 28.8 cubic feet, it allows safe storage of up to 600 cryoboxes. This FDA Class II medical device features a user-friendly HIC touchscreen interface that enhances ease of operation. The device can maintain temperatures between -50°C and -86°C, offering reliable sample protection with low peak temperature variation. The RDE Series is designed to provide sustainable performance with an H-drive hydrocarbon refrigeration system. Note that while in used condition, it functions optimally and has little to no cosmetic damage. Operational efficiency is further supported by quick recovery times post-door opening and long warm-up times from -80°C to -50°C, ensuring sample security. The freezer comes equipped with one power cord, and although accessories such as computer interfaces or manuals are not included, the device is compatible with the Thermo Scientific DeviceLink Hub.
