Description
The EmulsiFlex AVESTIN Emulsiflex C3 is a used, lab scale high pressure homogeniser equipped with an electric motor offering up to 30,000 psi homogenizing pressure for efficient cell disruption and processing of emulsions and liposomes to nanometer sizes. Despite its used condition, the equipment is functional and is known for reducing particles from microns to nanometers using a dynamic homogenising valve at constant pressures. This model requires 220V electric power and bottled air for operation. It has a throughput of up to 3 Litres per hour and can process samples as small as 10mL. There is slight cosmetic wear from prior usage but it has been tested to specifications and appears operational.
