The Scientific Industries SI-0400A Microplate Shaker is a high-speed benchtop laboratory shaker and vortex mixerdesigned for rapid, consistent mixing of samples in standard SBS-format microplates. Ideal for life science, molecular biology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and research laboratories, this compact microplate mixer provides controlled agitation for routine sample preparation and mixing workflows.
The SI-0400A laboratory shaker operates from 500 to 3,000 RPM at 60 Hz and uses a 1.0 mm vortexing orbit for efficient microplate mixing. Programmable timer and pulse functions provide additional control for applications requiring repeatable mixing cycles.
Designed to accommodate one standard SBS-footprint microplate, this compact plate shaker / microplate vortex mixer is suitable for a variety of microplate types and materials.
