BioRad C1000 Touch Thermal Cycler with Reaction Module 96W Deep block, manufactured 2018-03-01 (Serial CT031143). This PCR thermal cycler is designed for 96-well workflows using a 96-deep well reaction module (1840197) and supports 96 x 0.2 mL tubes, 48 x 0.5 mL tubes, or a 1 x 96-well plate. Temperature control spans 0-100C with gradient capability (30-100C) and fast heating/cooling up to 2.5C/sec maximum ramp rate. The unit features an 8.5-inch LCD touchscreen and multiple USB ports (5 x USB-A, 1 x USB-B) for connectivity. Condition Class F (Fair): unit powers on and completes its self-test. A green plastic lid handle is cracked near the mounting screw; this is a cosmetic/mechanical defect and may require modest repair. Calibration may be needed to restore optimal performance and accuracy for sensitive PCR applications.
