Description
The Chart Industries MVE Heco 819P-190AF-GB, a high-efficiency cryogenic storage freezer, is designed for vapor phase storage, accommodating 19,500 vials in boxes at an ultra-low temperature of -190°C. Part of the Series 800-190 line, it boasts the largest LN2 capacity at its vapor platform and offers secure, dry sample storage with the industry's longest hold time. Despite fair condition with a need for minor fixes, it remains a valuable asset for high-density storage. Notably, it requires a compatible MVE TEC 3000 controller for operation, which is not included. Manufactured in the United States, this freezer adheres to MDD 93/42/EEC and is UL/C-UL listed, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
Technician comment
LN2 filter on the back of the unit is snapped at the threads and will need repair or replacement before use. Unit does not include the MVE TEC 3000 controller; a compatible controller will be required for normal operation. See photos for details.
