Description
The Covaris CP02 cryoPREP Automated Dry Pulverizer is a specialized cryogenic tissue homogenizer and sample preparation system designed to cryofracture flash-frozen biological tissue prior to biomolecule extraction and analysis. Using calibrated, controlled mechanical force, the CP02 processes frozen tissue samples ranging from approximately 15 mg to 2 g.
The cryoPREP CP02 cryogenic pulverizer disrupts the extracellular tissue matrix and increases sample surface area, helping improve downstream extraction of proteins, enzymes, organelles, nucleic acids, and other biomolecules. The dry pulverization process is designed to minimize sample loss while supporting efficient subsequent lysis and extraction workflows.
