Description
This high-speed Thermo Scientific Sorvall Legend Micro 21R Refrigerated Microcentrifuge is designed for rapid separation of small-volume samples while maintaining precise temperature control. With speeds up to 14,800 RPM and a maximum relative centrifugal force of 21,100 × g, it is well suited for molecular biology, clinical, biotechnology, and research laboratory workflows.
The refrigerated system maintains temperatures from -9°C to +40°C, making it suitable for temperature-sensitive samples such as DNA, RNA, proteins, and other biological materials. Its compact footprint and quiet 50 dB(A) operation make it practical for routine benchtop use.
The centrifuge includes a 24-place rotor for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes and a ClickSeal biocontainment lid.
