Description
The Acros Organics Dowex 1X8, 100–200 mesh ion-exchange resin is a strongly basic anion-exchange resin, widely used in laboratory separations and analytical applications. It's comprised of a polystyrene-divinylbenzene matrix infused with quaternary ammonium functional groups. This resin supports high surface area and rapid exchange kinetics due to its fine 100–200 mesh particle size. Its principal applications include the separation of anions, purification processes, and analytical ion-exchange methods. Notably supplied in a 2.5 kg bottle and shipped from the United States, the resin is in its chloride form (Cl⁻) with a wet volume capacity of over 1.2 meq/mL and a water retention capacity ranging from 39 to 45%. The product is new and preserved in excellent condition, with possible minor portable cosmetic imperfections that do not affect its performance.
