Manufactured by Thermo Scientific, this product comes in a 2.5 KG bottle, offering a strongly acidic cation exchange resin in hydrogen form. With a fine particle size of 200–400 mesh, it ensures high-resolution separations and superior efficiency in water deionization, biochemical separations, and sample purification. The resin features sulfonic acid groups for efficient proton exchange and is noted for its high cross-linking at 8%, mechanical and chemical stability, and an exchange capacity of approximately 1.1 meq/mL. Its moisture content ranges from 50–58%, with a drying loss of ~55% at 110°C. This new, unused product, although potentially older with minor cosmetic imperfections, maintains excellent effectiveness and operational condition for laboratory settings.
