Description
The XYTronic 988D Temperature Controlled Soldering and Desoldering Station is designed for supreme efficiency with integrated soldering and desoldering functions. This unit powers down after 15 minutes of inactivity, conserving energy and prolonging tip life. It also features a delayed suction mechanism to prevent tip clogging and includes a zero voltage switching design, making it safe for electro-sensitive devices. The unit provides temperature stability with precision up to ±3°C (6°F) and adjustable temperature without needing to change tips. With a self-contained vacuum pump for continuous operation and detachable solder and desolder handles, this space-saving device ensures ease of use and maintenance-free operation. Though we cannot fully test, it powers on, and basic tests indicate functionality, with some cosmetic wear.

Station powers on, doesn't have soldering pencil so cannot fully test its capabilities. slight damage to the power switch but still functions. (see pictures)
