Description
GE Asymptote VIA Freeze controlled-rate freezer, used for liquid nitrogen-free cryopreservation with conduction cooling. Manufactured in Ukraine. This unit has an excellent cosmetic condition with minor blemishes from normal prior use. Per intake inspection, it reached -7 C during testing without issues. The VIA Freeze system uses customizable freezing profiles for controlled cooling between 5 C and 30 C operating temperature, supporting therapy-specific freeze profiles to help maintain cell function and viability. It features a secure ethernet interface for remote control and automated applications, plus onboard secure data logging and a fully featured protocol editor for protocol management. Capacity is 48 x 2.0 mL standard cryovials, with a seamless sample area designed for easy cleaning using standard wipes. Power requirements are 120-240 V AC, 50-60 Hz, 250 VA, and the low power design supports operation via a 12 V power inverter or small portable generator.

Pre-owned unit that powers on and has minor cosmetic blemishes from normal use. The unit reached a temperature of -7°C without any issues during testing. Unit is in excellent cosmetic condition. Please see the photos.
