Description
VWR Shel Lab 1555 is a general purpose double door laboratory incubator for controlled heating and incubation applications. This forced air incubator uses heating elements in the walls, bottom, and door to create a warm air jacket for temperature uniformity and recovery, and it includes an inner glass door for viewing samples without disturbing the chamber atmosphere. It features microprocessor control with keypad set and calibration, plus an independent over-temperature safety controller. Manufacturer specifications provided are 11.3 cu. ft. capacity, temperature range ambient +5 to 70C, uniformity +.25 at 37C, and stability +.1C. This pre-owned unit is in good condition and working order based on intake inspection. It was tested to reach the 37C set point temperature and shows normal cosmetic wear from prior use, including chipped paint and scratches on the top and side.
