Description
The Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer G2939A is a versatile electrophoresis system from Agilent Technologies, crafted in the United States, which automatically analyzes DNA, RNA, and proteins using advanced microfluidics and Lab-on-a-Chip technology. This system proves invaluable in high-stakes applications like Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and gene expression studies through nucleic acid size and quantity assessment, RNA integrity analysis, and protein purity evaluation. Even though fully untested, its basic testing functionalities are operational, and it originated from a working environment. Leveraging the 2100 Expert Software and specific microfluidic chips, it provides standardized, digital data with improved reproducibility. Measuring at 162 x 412 x 290mm and weighing around 10kg, it efficiently handles up to 12 samples per 30-45 minute run, using minimal sample volumes and reagents, making it a streamlined alternative to traditional gel electrophoresis.
Technician comment
Unit powers on and seems to work fine although I am unable to fully test without software and computer but is expected to work as it came from a working environment. Couple minor scratches nothing that effects functionality. Came from working environment. Cleaned with 70% alcohol.
